Engineering Manager III General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. For this position, you will lead a team required to interface across multiple engineering disciplines (including electrical, mechanical, software, components, materials, cyber, safety, structures and more), and multiple non-engineering disciplines (including program management, finance, scheduling, material management, configuration management, data management, publications, and more) in order to develop, manage, and execute critical engineering solutions for production and sustainment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Functions as a Manager role providing leadership, direction, charging guidance, technical guidance, career development support to new and experienced professional staff. - Establishes and maintains team vision, goals, and processes as they relate to technical resolution activities. - Provides engineering proposal estimates, contract statement of work feedback, and manages corresponding budgets/cost accounts upon award for a significant number of concurrent contracts. - Functions in an advisory or leadership role for a project/program and provide direction and guidance to less experienced professional staff or team of professional staff. - With limited direction, exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives for the review, research, design, development, and/or solution to technical engineering problem(s). - Helps project
