About the Opportunity Join our MQ-9 Requirements and System Architecture group as a System Engineering Supervisor, where you'll lead a talented team at the critical intersection of systems engineering and software development. In this role, you'll serve as the primary systems engineering liaison to the MQ-9B Software Integrated Product Team (IPT), driving requirements development and ensuring seamless integration of software solutions across our remotely piloted aircraft systems product line. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development - Lead and mentor a dynamic team of systems engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth. - Build and retain talent by providing career guidance, identifying staffing needs, and championing your team's development. - Plan and orchestrate work assignments, project schedules, and deliverables to meet development needs. Technical Leadership & Strategy - Act as the technical representative between Systems Engineering and the Software IPT, aligning team efforts in support of IPT activities. - Solve complex challenges by determining technical objectives for advanced engineering problems requiring creative, forward-thinking solutions. - Guide solution architecture from concept through deployment, including integration, testing, documentation, certification, and safety considerations. Collaboration & Influence - Represent the organization as the primary technical contact for assigned programs, interfacing with senior stakeholders across multiple organizations. - Communicate strategically with engineering teams, end users, and leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
