Engineer III General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. The Design Controls Engineer role is responsible for supporting and driving design control process execution to ensure engineering designs are compliant, traceable, and audit-ready in accordance with AS9100 requirements. This role operates with moderate independence and increasing ownership, ensuring requirements traceability, verification rigor, and proper documentation across the design lifecycle. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position plays a key role in coordinating cross-functional activities and supporting program execution, providing a strong foundation for growth into project and program management roles.
