About this role

Engineer II General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We have an exciting opportunity located in Poway, CA for a Project Engineer working on the MQ-9B Team to develop, test, and field the system for customer operations. This position will support development and fielding of a new UAS variant to international customers who plan to use the system to perform maritime surveillance missions. This position will support both technical and programmatic management of the program and will be expected to work with engineering and technical publications teams. The Project Engineer will report to the MQ-9B engineering manager and be a part of the MQ-9B Chief Engineering team. The candidate will represent the company as a technical subject matter expert on projects, will interact with key suppliers, lead coordination between internal organizations, and lead execution of program activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Confluence Administration: Create, update, and organize technical documentation, project pages, and knowledge bases in Confluence for the MQ-9B program. - Integrated Product Support (IPS): Assist with publication related activities, including data entry, tracking, and reporting to ensure compliance with program requirements. - Collaborate with engineering teams to collect and distribute technical information. - Ensure all documentation and data meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements. - Support process improvement initiatives related to documentation and training. - Travel (25%) is required to support customer meetings and
