Airframe & Powerplant Spec IV General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. The Airframe and Powerplant Specialist IV Maintenance Instructor supports CONUS training events and operations for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle platform. This role is responsible for conducting and supporting maintenance training, including transition and sustainment training, as well as developing, reviewing, and validating training courseware in response to system upgrades and enhancements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as a maintenance instructor and courseware developer for the Gray Eagle training team. - Train and evaluate Soldiers and contractor personnel on the Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), including sustainment, transition, upgrade, and refresher training. - Develop and verify courseware for new aircraft features, maintenance manual updates, and software releases. - Provide Gray Eagle system support for Army and GA customers at the Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL). - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. - Maintain familiarity with Army forms, records, technical publications, and Contractor Flight and Ground Operations procedures. - Perform additional duties as assigned.
