As a Project Environmental Specialist, you will provide technical input on environmental monitoring and design or construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications or regulatory standards. What you will be doing Support the development and implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP). Track compliance with applicable best management practices, Permit conditions, Environmental Work Plans, Environmental Management Plans, and site-specific plans. Coordinate environmental design and construction input between various disciplines. Collaborate with the project team in developing Environmental Work Plans and Environmental Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct environmental risk assessments, identify potential impacts and develop and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Prepare and review reporting associated with environmental compliance (e.g., Weekly Environmental Reports, Monthly Environmental Reports, Environmental Incident Reports, etc.). Support the development and implementation of an environmental training and awareness program. Manage data collection, storage and analysis.
