About this role

Co-op Student (Construction) Mississauga, ON, CA Overview We are looking for a co-op student available for 4, 8 and 12 months starting January 2026. What you will be doing Participate in preliminary estimates and details with the use of the guidelines for the projects relating to the field of Municipal Infrastructure Take part in design calculations and plans to ensure matching to the guidelines, the code requirements and other regulations Assist in maintaining relationships with clients in order to define their needs; explain technical information, concepts or study results Produce statements of quantities and prepare the budget assessments Verify and complete requests for proposals (RFPs), estimates and other technical documents Draft or proofread parts of the proposal, prepare documents for submittal Assist the project manager when help is needed. Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project What we are looking for Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering Ability to take initiative, pay attention to details, and work in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Knowledge and /or experience with the following a definite plus: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Heavy Bid Knowledge and/or experience in the design of municipal infrastructure projects preferred Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills Why work for us Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are: Comprehensive compensat
