Job Description: Support in the initial planning and implementation of the Molecular Lab, including driving key special projects (a) COVID-19 PCR testing (b) Pipeline PCR tests, etc. Develop SOPs and workflow protocols to perform molecular testing. Ensure regulatory compliance on biosafety and quality of the Molecular Lab. Support the procurement of Lab equipment & consumables with timely delivery. Support the recruitment, selection and staff training for molecular testing. Jointly lead the MOH audit with the laboratory management team to attain COVID-19 and molecular testing license. Ensure optimal performance; efficiencies and quality of a high throughput Molecular Lab. Ensure that laboratory policies and procedures and adhered by laboratory employees at all times. Oversee the monitoring of Molecular Lab inventory levels; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt for Molecular Lab supplies and reagents. Manage periodic
