Here is how the Field Communications Specialist role will impact our business: The Field Communications Specialist supports the reliability, availability, and security of industrial communication systems that enable SCADA operations, remote monitoring, automation, and field connectivity across operational assets. The Field Communications Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cellular routers/modems, wireless radios, satellite systems, managed switches, edge industrial computers, and serial communication systems. - Support SCADA, telemetry, and industrial communication networks. - Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, VPNs, VLANs, routing, firewall settings, and communication failover systems. - Perform preventative maintenance inspections and communication system testing. - Troubleshoot communication issues involving cellular, RF, Ethernet, VPN, SCADA, and edge device connectivity. - Install and verify antennas, communication
