About this role
Brand Ambassador – Cat Ninja Mascot Character Epic Orlando, Florida Epic is a digital reading platform used by over 50 million kids - and we're bringing our beloved character Cat Ninja to life at one of the biggest EdTech conferences in the world. We need someone to wear the Cat Ninja costume, take photos with conference attendees, and bring good energy to our booth for two days. The convention center is fully air-conditioned, so it's a comfortable environment even in costume. What you'll be doing: - Wearing the Cat Ninja costume (full character with oversized head piece) - Taking photos with teachers, educators, and conference attendees - Interacting in a fun, friendly, non-verbal way with the crowd - Possibly doing some light dancing or posing alongside other mascot characters - Representing Epic's brand with enthusiasm and positivity What we're looking for: - Outgoing, high-energy personality - you genuinely enjoy being around people - Comfortable in costume and able to stay in character for stretches of time - Reliable - this is a two-day commitment and punctuality matters - No prior mascot experience required, just a great attitude - Must be local to Orlando or able to get yourself to the Orange County Convention Center Details: - Dates: Monday June 29 and Tuesday June 30, 2026 - Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM both days - Location: Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL - Pay: $200 per day ($400 total), paid upon completion
