Solar Technician, Sr Country United States What You Can Expect As the Sr. Solar Technician, your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems upon arrival at the Sypert Branch solar plant in Rogers, TX. Your duties encompass repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. Based on your skill level and direction from your supervisor, you perform complex maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting distributed control systems and inverters. You will complete work orders within the preventive maintenance management system and carry out corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on all solar power plant system equipment. In this role your key responsibilities everyday will be: Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders in coordination with the Remote Operations Control Center (ROCC), and operate all electrical and mechanical systems within the solar power plant Participate in required training and are responsible for writing plant orders, procedures, operating instructions, job safety plans (JSP), lockout/tagout (LOTO) documentation, and other assigned materials Work independently or as part of a crew to complete assigned tasks across solar power plant systems Utilize SCADA systems and other digital tools for monitoring and diagnostics, along with test equipment such as meggers and IV curve testers Travel to various sites as required to support maintenance and operational needs What You'll Bring ​ Minimum High S
