What You Can Expect As a Solar Technician II, your daily responsibilities will begin with accessing and managing tasks through SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and executing technical work orders related to solar panel systems. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. Key Responsibilities Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations within qualified skill areas, ensuring safety and efficiency Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding Work independently or as part of a crew to complete assigned tasks across solar power plant systems Utilize SCADA systems and other digital tools for monitoring and diagnostics, along with test equipment such as meggers and IV curve testers Travel to various si
