Solar Technician II - Anson Solar Site Country United States What You Can Expect As the Solar Technician II, your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems upon arrival at the Anson solar plant in Anson, TX. Your duties encompass repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. You will be required to adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site. In this role your key responsibilities everyday will be: Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations within qualified skill areas, ensuring safety and efficiency Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding Work independently or as part of a crew to complete assigned tasks across solar power plant systems Utilize SCADA systems and other digital tools for monitoring and diagnostics, along with test equipment such as meggers and IV curve testers Travel to various sites as required to support maintenance and operationa
