To manage these challenges around radioactive waste during the decommissioning of our 7 plants, the Fleet Decommissioning organization is looking for one Radioactive Waste Project Manager that will work from Brussels. Radioactive Waste Management projects ensure the efficient transfer of already produced and future waste to ONDRAF/NIRAS, in line with the decommissioning waste strategy. These projects cover the following topics: implementation of the new waste acceptance & compliance criteria development and implementation of waste streams development and implementation of material and waste inventory development and implementation of radioactive transports What exactly does your job consist of? As Radioactive Waste Project Manager you will take on the above projects in close cooperation with the Decommissioning team, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. And this under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, the Operational Fleet Waste Manager or the person in charge of the Waste Department.
