Job Summary Dominion Energy an exciting opportunity on our Supply Chain Transportation Management team as an Associate Supply Chain Transportation Specialist. Responsibilities include: Arranges and coordinates transportation and shipping services for equipment and materials. Identifies potential transportation service providers. Communicates with field and project personnel to evaluate provider performance. Reviews and handles freight bills. Reviews and processes routine claims for lost or damaged materials. Assists field personnel in expediting or locating materials in transit. Assists with shipping requirements and issues. May solicit proposals, evaluate responses, negotiate, and/or administer routine service contracts. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience 0-2 years of related experience. Basic knowledge of freight claim law procedures. General knowledge of procurement practices, procedures, and policies. General knowledge of business and contract law. General knowledge material and service delivery fulfillment process. Hazmat DOT knowledge. Experience with SAP, preferred. Good verbal, written, and presentation communication
