Purpose As a Non destructive Evaluation E ngineer, you will help accelerate the adoption and qualification of additive manufacturing and advanced joining processes through implementation of novel inspection methods . The Role - Develop inspection methods and procedures for advanced manufacturing methods including additive manufacturing and joining. - Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to establish inspection plans and implement design for inspectability best practices. - Execute probability of detection studies and qualification plans. - Procure and commission inspection equipment as needed for production. - Interface with customers and government agencies on inspection of additive manufactured hardware. - Perform third party audits of nondestructive testing vendors.
