About this role
Youth Program Specialist Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties related to youth flight direction and administration and to complete development assignments and training outlined in the formal management trainee training and development plan. Duties Performs developmental assignments in the application of professional principles, techniques, methods, and procedures used to provide youth programs and services that meet community needs. Assists the Youth Center Director to ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment exists in the Youth Programs facilities, grounds, playgrounds, and sports fields and that security and maintenance is monitored. Assists the Youth Center Director in managing appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF), and funds from other sources. Conducts special assignments in keeping with the formal training plan. Education The PALACE Acquire Program offers you a permanent position upon completion of your formal training plan. As a Palace Acquire Intern you will experience both personal and professional growth while dealing effectively and ethically with change, complexity, and problem solving. The program offers a 3-year formal training plan with yearly salary increases. Promotions and salary increases are based upon your successful performance and supervisory approval. This is your opportunity to begin a successful civilian career with the United States Air Force. You MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Please submit copies
