TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS SPECIALIST Andrews AFB, Maryland Summary This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. Duties The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to perform technical and administrative analytical work of planning, development and implementation of Airlift and Air Refueling Missions, transportation requirements to assure safe, expeditious domestic and international transportation of high-level officials and their staff to meet critical, sensitive diplomatic, military and domestic requirements. Develops and executes monthly aircraft mission schedules and training reservist in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Duties: 1: Manages air transportation for both CONUS and OCONUS cargo and/or passenger movement. 2: Responsible for accomplishing all aspects of aircrew and aircraft support for assigned missions. 3: Supports assigned missions by reviewing various databases and other sources of weather, itinerary, equipment and passenger information. 4: Develops quarterly flying schedule from annual flying requirements.
