TRACTOR OPERATOR Tinker AFB, Oklahoma Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Tinker Golf Course. This is a regular part-time position guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours per week. Working Conditions: May be exposed to extreme heat and constantly required to work over uneven terrain. Physical Effort: Frequent stooping, bending, reaching and climbing. Frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Duties The purpose of this position is to provide mowing services to fairways, roughs and greens; weed control and fertilizer application on the golf course. Regular & Recurring Duties and Responsibilities: Operates field-type tractors with attachments to maintain the grasses at the golf course. Operates a variety of equipment to include but not limited to the following: mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, clippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, moveable dozer, blades, backhoe, and other equipment ranging from small hand held applicators to tractor drawn liquid and solid dispensers. Makes all adjustments to equipment to ensure proper settings, connections, and mechanical soundness of equipment. Observes all safety rules and regulations pertaining to vehicle operation. Performs operator maintenance on field-type tractors and related equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
