SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the implementation of the Dept of Defense and Air Force Information, Personnel, Industrial, and OPSEC programs in support of the 66 ABG and tenant/supported organizations outlined by Host-Tenant and Functional Support Agreements. Serves as Senior Installation Information Protection advisor to the Air Base Group Commander. Duties Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Manages, oversees, and directs the implementation and compliance of Department of Defense Information Protection policies, procedures and programs required for the safeguarding of national security and controlled unclassified information. Provides senior level Industrial Security oversight for DoD contractor operations. Serves as the installation senior civilian on the application of Information Protection security requirements. Conducts senior management oversight of the installation commander's Information Protection self-inspection and inspection programs. Evaluation KEY QUALIFICATIONS: - Extensive experience managing and integrating multiple security disciplines (Information, Personnel, Industrial, and OPSEC). - Demonstrated expertise in Industrial Security and contractor oversight, particularly evaluating compliance with the NISPOM. - Proven track record in a formal supervisory role, with the ability to lead, mentor, and manage the performance of a diverse team. - Strong analytical judgment with the ability to advise senior executives on complex, high-stakes security and risk-management decisions. - Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance Your application package
