About this role
SUPERVISORY NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR) Minneapolis, Minnesota Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. Air Reserve Technicians are full-time civilian employees who are also members of the Air Force Reserve unit in which they are employed. In addition to their civilian assignments, they are assigned to equivalent positions in the Reserve organization with a Reserve military rank or grade. Appointee's civilian assignments will consist of the following duties. Duties The primary purpose of this position is: as Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer position to serve as the Aircraft Operations Officer and/or Senior ART in the Operations Support Squadron or other flying squadron as appropriate with responsibility for staff guidance, Intelligence oversight (as appropriate), supervision on all operational training matters for this unit and provide oversight for the Life Support function. Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. The incumbent also performs duties of an aircrew officer on flying status.. DUTY 1: Manages the unit flight training program for aircrew members. DUTY 2: Prepares course materials for presentation to instructors and flight examiners. DUTY 3: Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. DUTY 4: As required, flies as an aircrew member.
