About this role

REQUIREMENTS PROGRAM ANALYST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is to Serve as Air Force Security Forces program analyst who provides Air Force military expertise in planning, developing, and evaluating major complex requirements capabilities plans. Duties Performs a broad range of highly complex and controversial qualitative and quantitative analyses of programs, policies, and issues which have a major impact on national deterrence policy in the development of protecting systems used in Joint warfighting mobilization, and similar operations or contingency plans. Develops testing approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of new systems supporting war, mobilization, and similar operations or contingency plans. Prepares position papers and presents high level briefings of conclusions; many being highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification until actual operational situations are encountered. Maintains a continuous liaison with Air Staff, other service headquarters counterparts, and other DOD offices to ensure that capability requirements development planning is consistent and integrated throughout the defense community.
