OPERATIONS SECURITY SPECIALIST Scott AFB, Illinois Summary This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for To serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and the primary point of contact to the Chief, Current Operations Division, managing the J3's operations security (OPSEC) program of U.S. Transportation Command's (USTRANSCOM) global operations. Duties As a OPERATIONS SECURITY SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: - Serve as the USTRANSCOM Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Manager (PM). Prepares, recommends, and manages execution of the command's OPSEC program. Develops long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones to evaluate the effectiveness of the OPSEC program throughout USTRANSCOM's area of responsibility. USTRANSCOM OPSEC Liaison USTRANSCOM J2 Synchronizer Lead for OPSEC Training Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
