About this role

LABORER (BOWLING) Lakenheath, United Kingdom Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Bowling Center, RAF Lakenheath. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guarantee. This position is only open to applicants within the "Area of Consideration". Must be in the UK on PCS orders (military or civilian) or you must have a current UK work Visa Duties Applicants will be reviewed and referred every 10 days until the close of this announcement. Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering to established standards. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems.
