About this role
Inventory Management Specialist Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is to develop broad gauged individuals who can deal effectively with change and complexity within the Air Force environment as it relates to their career field. Duties Performs a variety of continuing inventory management tasks requiring analytical judgment, procedural and technical skills. Assists higher graded specialist in developing specific portions of inventory management support projects or analytical and evaluative studies; exchanges factual information with functional specialists, managers, staff , specialists, operating officials; and provide support of other s representing the organization in matters relating to inventory management work. Uses automated information technology capabilities, such as databases, systems and computer-generated products, to perform continuing routing inventory management duties. Performs special assignments in keeping with the formal training plan. Education Any individual who was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a PUBLIC or other non-profit institution not more than two years before the date of appointment meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program; OR Any individual who has completed a period of obligated service in a uniformed service of more than four years and was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a public or other non-profit institution not more than four years before the closing of this announcement meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program.
