FLIGHT SERVICES SPECIALIST (Title 32) Sioux Falls, South Dakota Summary This National Guard position is for a FLIGHT SERVICES SPECIALIST, Position Description Number NGD1458000 and is part of the 114 OSS FLT. This is a Title 32, Dual-Status position. AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: - All members of the South Dakota Air National Guard or those eligible to join. Duties As a FLIGHT SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-2101-9, you will: Position is located in Airfield Management/Flight Services Branch which is responsible for coordinating and maintaining liaison with military, federal, and local agencies concerning airspace utilization, flying operations, aircraft emergencies, search and rescue operations, and natural disasters. This full- performance level position provides direct support to unit and other military and civilian aircrews during scheduled and unscheduled flying and ground activities. The incumbent works independently on standard and extended and/or rotating shifts to provide aircrews with information and assistance necessary for planning and conducting safe flight operations. Evaluation EVALUATION METHODS: Each applicant considered to possess the minimum qualification requirements will be further evaluated in accordance with the procedures outlined in SDNG Technician Pamphlet 335-T and subsequent MOAs.
