About this role
FAMILY CHILD CARE COORDINATOR Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is: To plan, organize, develop, implement, and monitor a program of family child care to reduce the risk to children in family child care homes. Protects both the health and safety of children and the Air Force from undue liability through the enforcement of Air Force policies and regulations Duties Enforces Family Child Care Program management policies and regulations to protect children and the Air Force; initiates inspections of family child care homes and providers; and analyzes, evaluates, and documents program violations. Provides and monitors curricula and training for both family child care providers and children; assesses development of children in family child care homes; and pursues parental education and involvement. Serves as the focal point for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Food Program (CAFP) for the family childcare program. Performs a variety of duties in support of the Family Child Care Program to include participation in suitability evaluations, management of resources, establishment and maintenance of a resource-lending program, accomplishment of required reports, creation and maintenance of necessary documentation and files, and carrying out of public relations tasks.
