About this role

EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPATCHER Holloman AFB, New Mexico Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is to: provide emergency response services to the 49th Wing assigned aircraft and personnel as well as police, fire and medical services to the public by answering emergency 911 calls and coordinate dispatch response with appropriate personnel and equipment for other types of emergency or non-emergency response or standby actions. Duties Responds to emergency 911-call by providing emergency dispatching services. Determines the nature of the emergency in accordance with established guidelines. Performs Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services to callers with medical emergencies. Maintains maps, checklists and charts, including automated programs. Operates and maintains telephones, automated data processing equipment, printers, recorders, facsimile equipment, and other devices installed in the dispatch center Prepares and maintains reports and records relating to emergency responses. Education IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: If position has a positive degree requirement or education forms the basis for qualifications, you MUST submit transcripts with the application.
