Duties The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position to: (1) provide overall management of reserve wing and unit-level emergency management (EM) and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense programs, (2) ensure AF Incident Management and CBRN defense training is provided to assigned reserve wing personnel, (3) plan for and ensure EM personnel are prepared to meet rapid deployment requirements in support of contingency or wartime operations. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. DUTY 1: Manages the Emergency Management and CBRN Defense programs for the reserve wing. Develops, coordinates, obtains approval and promulgates operational plans and procedures for implementation of wing policies and instructions relating to EM, CBRN Defense, consequence management and HAZMAT programs. DUTY 2: Serves as technical advisor to reserve wing and squadron commanders and provides sound technical advice on Air Force Incident Management emergency response concepts and procedures for situations involving enemy attacks, natural disasters, accident response, terrorist use of CBRN, and other emergencies or contingencies.
