DEPUTY BASE CIVIL ENGINEER Laughlin AFB, Texas Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide continuity in the management of the installation's Civil Engineering functions. Duties Serves as the Deputy Base Civil Engineer at an Air Force or Joint Base installation with responsibility for providing, operating, and maintaining highly complex infrastructure and facilities necessary to create and sustain responsive and effective combat operations on a global basis. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities Makes a periodic, comprehensive assessment and evaluation of program goals/objectives which provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the organization's management support capabilities. Represents the Civil Engineer Squadron with a variety of installation organizations and outside agencies Education IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: If position has a positive degree requirement or education forms the basis for qualifications, you MUST submit transcripts with the application. Official transcripts are not required at the time of application; however, if position has a positive degree requirement, qualifying based on education alone or in combination with experience, transcripts must be verified prior to appointment.
