COMPOSITE WORKER Hickam AFB, Hawaii Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a COMPOSITE WORKER, Position Description Number D2502000 and is part of the HI 154 MXS, National Guard. LOCATION: 154 Maintenance Squadron, Hawaii Air National Guard, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii Duties SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to assist a higher-graded worker to accomplish inspection, repair, modification, removal, installation, troubleshooting, and data documentation Low Observable (LO) systems and structures. Incumbent receives on-the-job experience and training to progress to the full performance level PD: D2503000(WG-4352-10). Performs basic repairs and maintenance with minimum instruction from a composite fabricators in performing repair and maintenance of LO coatings and structural systems. Performs basic repairs and maintenance with minimal instruction from higher graded Composite Fabricators to repair and maintain composite, advanced composites, metal and thermoplastic aircraft structures. Performs basic repairs and maintenance with minimal instruction from higher graded Composite Fabricators to repair, apply, and maintain corrosion preventatives and paints on aircraft, powered, and non-powered AGE.
