Summary Found in Duties Duties Assesses needs and provides continuing work/life services to leadership, organizations, and serviced populations within assigned units Consults with on- and off-site community leadership officials on work/life and related issues. Influences key organizational staff and organized groups within/outside the installation Develops, implements, and manages installation work/life services programs, establishing goals, objectives, and procedures in accordance with applicable policy, guidance, regulations, and laws. Designs and establishes a marketing strategy to ensure target populations are informed of services Alternate Program Specialist for the Wing Survivor Benefit Program (SBP). Provides counseling, guidance, and interpretations concerning the broad range of rights and benefits, explaining both short and long term impact of the SBP on Air Force personnel and their families Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Community Readiness Consultant at Joint Base Andrews planning, implementing, administering, and counseling units and their leadership on individual, family, and community issues including but not limited to career assistance, transition, relocation, family, personal finance and other work/life service and activities provided to military members, retirees, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian members, and their families.
