The Department is committed to furthering the promise of self-sufficiency in every American while promoting economic development to revitalize rural, tribal, and urban communities across the country. As a/an Supervisory HR Specialist (Deputy Executive Director for Workforce Strategy and Talent Acquisition), you will: Independently analyze emerging workforce risks, statutory changes, case law developments, and organizational trends to identify vulnerabilities and systemic issues. Provide authoritative advice to the SES and senior leadership on complex matters involving operational HR activities involving staffing, classification, and benefits. Represent the agency before oversight bodies and external stakeholders. Oversee the direction of the workforce planning and position management programs. Oversee the direction of the pay, benefits, and retirement programs. Oversee the governance of pay structures, locality adjustments, and incentives programs. Requirements The official duty station for this position will be in Alexandria, Virginia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal. Key Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. A probationary or trial period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification
