Supervisory Health System Specialist (PRC) Parker, Arizona Summary This position is located at the Parker Indian Health Center, Colorado River Service Unit (CRSU) in Parker, Arizona. The incumbent works under the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and reviews overall department objectives. The Purchase Referred Care Department collaborates with medical providers and clinicians to provide patient referral services to Colorado River Service Unit and other Phoenix Area IHS clients. Directs financial planning and oversight, including budgeting, spend plans, cost analysis, contract monitoring, and reporting, while addressing funding gaps and ensuring accurate, timely payments and fiscal accountability. Leads program improvement and stakeholder engagement, implementing quality controls, managing appeals and claims, educating patients and partners, and maximizing use of alternative resources to enhance program effectiveness and compliance. Oversees high-cost and high-risk case management, including CHEF program administration, ensuring eligibility compliance, timely reporting, effective referral coordination, and providing guidance, education, and oversight to support managed care processes. Directs and supervises program staff and operations, overseeing work planning, assignments, performance management, hiring, training, and employee relations while improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring effective program execution.
