About this role
Librarian (Biomedical) Montgomery County, Maryland Summary This position supports specialized biomedical information services, including systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis projects; publication, portfolio, and research impact analyses; data management and sharing support; and training on biomedical information resources, analytical tools, and research workflows. Duties Serves as a Librarian within the Division of Library Services, providing leadership and technical expertise in the provision of library and information management services. Applies expertise in data analytics, evidence synthesis, and bibliometric tools to develop data and/or information solutions that support life sciences and biomedical research. Provides instruction in the use of library-provided resources, analytical tools, scholarly resources, and/or information resources. Delivers formal and informal presentations to NIH staff to promote awareness and effective use of Library programs and services. Develops policies, programs, services, and products to address library user needs, and leads the creation of innovative methods for solving complex information challenges. Evaluates, recommends, and maintains electronic resources relevant to the Library's programs. Education This position has an education requirement.
