About this role

Director, Marketplace Information Technology Group Multiple Locations Summary This position is located in the Marketplace Information Technology Group (MITG) within the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO). As the Director, Marketplace Information Technology Group, you will provide executive leadership and direction in support of the Healthcare system initiatives, and lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the CCIIO information technology supporting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the No Surprises Act. Duties Directs the use of digital analytics and digital services to ensure user-centric designs, standards-based approaches to software development, and modern project management and development processes. Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of all CMS systems supporting Health Insurance Exchange projects and lead the software development and integration activities. Oversees the guidance and management for the State-Based Exchange (including file and data security and integration with any federally provided support services). Coordinates the strategic IT vision in cooperation with multiple CMS components, multiple Federal agencies, State agencies, OMB, and White House senior officials. Directs coordination with other CMS and CCIIO Groups that support healthcare systems to ensure conformance with the CMS and HHS architectural and security policies and standards. Directs MITG efforts to ensure collaboration, consumer input, and operational considerations, including impact of changes, scalability, system integration, and long-term planning for future activities and needs.
