About this role

Administrative Support Assistant Santa Fe, New Mexico Summary This position serves as an Office Support Assistant for the Santa Fe Indian Health Center in Santa Fe, NM. The purpose of this position is to provide a broad range of administrative, clerical, and program support services in support of daily office operations. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the Santa Fe Service Unit. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). Duties Provides administrative, clerical, and office support services to ensure efficient daily operations. Prepares, reviews, and maintains correspondence, reports, records, and other office documents. Coordinates schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and related administrative activities. Assists with timekeeping, purchasing, inventory tracking, and maintenance of administrative records. Serves as a point of contact for staff, patients, visitors, and partner organizations by responding to inquiries and providing customer service. Requirements Selectee may be subject to a probationary period ESEP appointees typically serve a two year trial period U.S. Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959, www.sss.gov This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes.
