Visual Information Specialist (Graphics) Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii Summary About the Position: This position is located within Defense Health Agency Indo-Pacific Market, Leadership Communications, located on the campus of Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Duties Determine decisions for graphics such as content, layout, and format. Advise public affairs officer on matters such as graphic design, print advertising, art media, and marketing budget. Collaborate with physicians, scientists, and researchers to define objectives of visual presentation projects. Utilize automated graphic design software to edit imagery, create visual design projects or format layout of visual media. Develop a comprehensive database of visual information such as computer graphics covering medical equipment, pictorial images, web sites, graphic icons, and subject matter information. Take and edit photos and videos. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
