Template Technician (Office Automation) Bethesda, Maryland Summary About the Position: This position is located in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Director for Healthcare Operations, Department of Managed Care Business Decision Support in Bethesda, MD. Improving and facilitating access to patient care. Work Environment: Standard cubicle setting. Operating Hours: 0600 to 1800. Duties Coordinate and input appointment schedules for providers into automated systems. Monitor schedules to avoid conflicts in different clinical schedules and ensure appointments are timely and in accordance with provider requests. Manage all templates and scheduling functions, including development and implementation of all primary/specialty care templates and schedules. Analyze templates and schedules for efficiency and optimal productivity. Analyze the supply and the demand for health care services and develops a plan to adapt schedules to meet or exceed demand. Assist in training new employees in all aspects of template and schedule development and management. Review the workload within the clinics and addresses any changes with the template supervisor. Evaluation You will be evaluated based on how well you meet the qualifications listed in this vacancy announcement.
