Supervisory Program Manager (SCWDP) Arlington, Virginia Summary This position is part of Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Defense Security Cooperation University, Security Cooperation Workforce Development Program - Human Capital Initiative (SCWDP-HCI). SCWDP-HCI's mission is to improve the quality and professionalism of the Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) by managing the implementation of the workforce development program and Human Capital Initiative to enable the SCW to administer the full-spectrum of Security Cooperation programs. Duties As a Supervisory Program Manager (SCWDP) at the GS-0340-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Supervises the development and review of strategic plans, overseeing the formulation of both short- and long-term policies, program plans/objectives and evaluations in direct support of Security Cooperation (SC) Programs and the SC workforce worldwide. Develops and evaluates extensive, comprehensive concepts, policy, plans, and programs in coordination with Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, DoD Components, MILDEPS and the agency. Leads senior level engagement efforts with DoD, interagency, and Congressional stakeholders and advises on policies and procedures. Demonstrating supervisory experience performing project management tasks such as counseling and managing personnel, task assignments, ongoing technical efforts, project and personnel performance, standard operating policies and procedures, content versioning, timelines, cost controls, and oversight of contractor development teams. Plans work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
