Supervisory Nurse (Occupational Health) Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland Summary About the Position: This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, within the Aberdeen Occupational Health Clinic. Monday through Friday during regular business hours (typically 0730-1630), with occasional flexibility. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Duties Assign work to subordinates based on priorities. Perform a variety of duties relative to the administrative management. Apply a professional knowledge of nursing and an in-depth knowledge of the clinic's mission. Establish Occupational Health Program protocols by providing technical guidance. Evaluate the work performance of subordinates. Identify developmental and training needs of employees. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
