SUPERVISORY NURSE (CLINICAL/EMERGENCY) Fort Gordon, Georgia Summary About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Nurse (Clinical/Emergency) with the Department of Defense at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation The following programs/incentives MAY be offered to highly qualified candidates: - Student Loan Repayment - Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service - Advanced In-hire (offered to new Federal employees only) - Relocation/Recruitment/Retention Incentives Duties Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work. Provide direct administrative support to the clinical nursing staff and is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Department. Perform a variety of administrative duties as an extension of and in support of the Hospital Chief Nurse, and Emergency Department Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) along with the Chief of the Emergency Department. Assist the physician in performance of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and other specialized procedures. Operate specialized medical equipment such as resuscitators, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, oxygen apparatus, intravenous pumps, and rapid intravenous infusers. Plan, oversee and facilitate nursing triage. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit
