Staff Support Analyst Fort Belvoir, Virginia Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Duties Serve as the principal action officer, advising the Executive Director and drafting consistent, context aware communications for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) employees, customers, and partners. Oversee the Directorate's suspense system, tracking actions, collaborating with specialists, and ensuring all responses are technically accurate and timely. Review and edit executive correspondence, compile management statistics, and analyze new regulations to determine their operational impact. Develop, evaluate, and implement broad internal administrative policies, procedures, and tools to optimize management support functions. Integrate the Executive Director's vision into work plans, track the progress of ongoing work, and ensure strategic objectives and deadlines are met. Screen communications from high-ranking military and civilian officials, arrange conferences, and prepare necessary agendas, talking papers, and briefing materials. Coordinate executive travel schedules and processes vouchers using the Defense Travel System (DTS), acting as the Directorate's Defense Travel Administrator.
