Psychology Technician Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri Summary About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, General Leonard Wood Community Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Provide paraprofessional and technical assistance to licensed mental health providers to support direct patient care and clinical operations. Conduct structured clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and symptom inventories under provider direction to gather treatment planning. Conduct daily assessments of suicidal and homicidal risk and identifies appropriate interventions with support for licensed clinicians. Facilitate direct patient coordination with referring providers and command teams y completing initial triage appointments and overseeing transitions into mental health programs. Coordinate patient referrals and consultations across internal departments and external mental health services to ensure timely access to care. Document in the electronic medical record system in compliance with Defense Health Agency (DHA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and The Joint Commission standards.
