About this role
PROGRAM MANAGER Multiple Locations Summary As a DMDC Program Manager (GS-13/14), you drive high-visibility DoW strategic initiatives at the intersection of business and IT. Advising senior executives, you'll lead complex IT portfolios-from Identity Management to Infrastructure modernization. You manage the full lifecycle, including acquisition strategies and risk mitigation, to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions at scale. Join us as the catalyst for enterprise-wide transformation within the Department of War. Duties As a PROGRAM MANAGER at the GS-0340-13/14 some of your typical work assignments may include: GS-13: Knowledge of program and financial management policies to support the implementation of assigned IT programs and their goals. Experience in the planning and execution of multiple projects, including developing project plans, tracking performance metrics, and providing status updates. Ability to analyze program requirements, identify risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate impacts on cost, schedule, and performance under supervision. Experience researching and analyzing data to support the development of business cases for IT projects and to maintain knowledge of relevant technology and trends. Must meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements for a Level III certification in the Information Technology career field within 24 months of appointment. GS-14: Expert knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures for program management, financial management, and investment management to ensure the successful implementation of program goals. Experience managing the full lifecycle of complex Information Technology (IT) portfolios, including developing long-range work plans, formulating acquisition strategies, and overseeing program execution from inception to retirement.
