Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing) Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii Summary About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Nursing Sterile Processing Department in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Process surgical instruments. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, sings of damage, deterioration, imperfection, rust, pitting, and cracks. Conduct equipment testing of surgical instruments. Operate and cleans sterilizers. Ensure appropriate climate control measures are maintained and documented per the facility standard operating procedures. Perform daily quality assurance testing on sterilization equipment. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
