Materials Handler (Forklift Operator) Kaiserslautern, Germany Summary About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. The initial cutoff date for referral is 17 November 2025. After this date additional referral lists will be created as vacancies are available. Duties As a Materials Handler (Forklift Operator), you will perform a wide range of warehousing work to include receiving, storing, selecting and shipping perishable and semi-perishables subsistence products. You will operate all types of materials handling equipment. Handle the receipt of incoming shipments from off-loading stages through movement of items to storage area, select proper storage locations for items; assemble items for shipment, and storing, stack, and palletize items. Assist or participate in the performance of physical warehouse inventories. See that items ready for shipment are properly assembled in the loading area according to information provided on the shipping requests. Perform equipment operator's maintenance as required. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
