Materials Examiner and Identifier Supervisor (FLO) Robins AFB, Georgia Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Duties Exercises technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on a weekly or monthly basis. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, in accordance with general work schedules, methods, and policies established by higher-level supervisors. Determines the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects. Assigns work to individual workers by verbal or written instructions. Monitors work in progress and inspects completed work to assure work order requirements. Sets performance standards for subordinates and makes formal appraisals of their work performance. Counsels employees and discusses informal complaints and grievances with workers and union representatives. Initiates disciplinary actions as needed. Maintains work reports and records.
