HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia Summary This position is located in the Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration Plant (PHRP), under the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), and Facilities Operations and Services Division (FOSD), Facilities Operations Group (FOG), Heating & Refrigeration Plant (HRP). Scheduled to open for 14 calendar days. Duties This is a Direct Hire Public Notice, under this recruitment, applications will be accepted for each location and/or installation identified in this Public Notice and selections are made for vacancies as they occur. This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority (DHA) in accordance with Section 9905 of title 5, U.S. Code. Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Performs high voltage switching, isolating, grounding, insulating, splicing, terminating of underground conductors. Operates and monitors master console, diesel engines, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in an emergency or in the absence of other assigned personnel.
