Dietetic Technician Fort Carson, Colorado Summary About the Position This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO with Nutrition Care. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Provide nutrition care in accordance with established guidelines and policy. Review patient medical charts for pertinent information related to patient nutritional status and lifestyle. Record screening data, nutrition assessments and plans. Review diet orders and update food preferences and supplements in computerized programs. Communicate with dietitian regarding diet instructions. Evaluate accuracy of tray assembly and nourishment planning procedures. Review menus and makes adjustments as necessary. Communicate with all members of the Nutritional Care Team, orally or via e-mail, regarding all information relative to patient care and meal service. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
